Our therapeutic approaches

At Homeplace Psychology, we primarily use trauma-focused therapies that integrate somatic, cognitive, emotion, and compassion approaches.

This means your therapy will be a personalised approach specific for you and your goals.

  • Individual Supervision on an ad hoc and ongoing basis.

    Can provide supervision to Provisional Psychologists, Clinical Psychology Registrars, early career and experienced Psychologists.

    Can also provide supervision to mental and sexual health therapists from other disciplines.

  • Gender affirming reports for trans and gender diverse folks needing this for gender affirming health care.

  • As an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Psychosexual Therapist, our Director Mel Wyllie (she/they) can liaise with you on issues regarding LGBTIQAP+ care, neurodivergence, trauma, sexual wellbeing, identity, intimacy, diverse relationships (ie. kink, poly, etc.), and the intersection of these, and more.
