Mel is a PsyBA approved supervisor and an integrative therapist who primarily uses somatic, cognitive, and experiential therapies underpinned by attachment theory, compassion focused therapy (CFT), and emotion focused therapy (EFT). Mel is also experienced in EMDR, IFS, IPT, DBT, trauma-focused CBT, and ACT. Mel works with each client to determine the best treatment approach for them.
Mel is a genderfluid queer ADHDer who loves immersing herself in all sorts of culture. They particularly love music, going to gigs, and collecting records, having a few quality beers with friends, discovering new cheap eats, and forcing cuddles with her reluctant British Blue cat Albert.
