Where can I see you?
We primarily use Video Telehealth for our sessions. Once your appointment is booked and confirmed you will receive a Zoom link for your appointment.
In person appointments are available upon specific request. These are held in Brunswick or Coburg, close to all public transport with plenty of street parking nearby, and with disability access. Once your appointment is booked and confirmed you will be sent the specific location details.
What are your fees?

Our fees are significantly less than the fees recommended by both the Australian Psychology Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) for a standard psychology session.
If you have been referred by your GP or specialist under the Better Access Initiative with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) you are eligible for up to 10 subsidised 50-minute sessions per calendar year.
As of August 2025 the rebate is $141.25 per session.
You may be eligible for rebates under your private health insurance. However, you cannot claim a private health rebate and a Better Access Initiative rebate for the same session.
We are not accepting referrals under an Eating Disorder Plan at this time.
Who do you see?
Here at Homeplace Psychology we accept clients from 16 years of age.
We can accept younger clients presenting for support with gender diversity upon request, please reach out to us to discuss.
We welcome clients seeking WPATH assessments for all gender affirming treatment.
We are not accepting other assessment referrals at this time.
Please note that we are closed to new NDIS clients at this time.
We can accept referrals under DVA, WorkCover, and other third parties upon request.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We ask that you please provide 48 hours notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the appointment to someone else.
If cancelled with less than 48 hours notice but more than 24 hours notice, 50% of the session fee will apply.
If cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, including no shows, the full fee will apply.
We will always try to fill cancelled appointments from our waitlist. In the event that we can fill the appointment, no fees will be charged.
